I want to share my most wonderful experience with the spirit of my Grandfather. I was always his little girl and no one made me feel as special as he did and had he been alive longer I would have had a much happier life. BUT, with that said he found a way to touch me so deeply from the other side that I still cry when I tell this story. I married too young , age 18 and got pregnant with my first child soon after. My ex-husband was abusive and I always felt my grandfathers presence near me the entire time.

August 8, 1987 I went into labor and it wasn't a very easy labor at all, I had no family there just this abusive guy. 10 1/2 hours later my first beautiful daughter arrived into the world and this is when the MIRACLE happened. My hearing went to a buzz, I could see doctors and nurses carrying on their duties attending to my healthy screaming baby, I assumed she was screaming since she looked like she was screaming but all I heard was this buzz. I looked over at my daughter and in my amazement there in front of me appeared my grandfathers face! He was blocking the view of my daughter as if he was resting on her. He looked at me and gave me this HUGE smile and as he began to slowly fade away my hearing started to return and I could hear every noise even my daughters loud screams! That a few seconds ago was not there.

This is something that I think of often even though my daughter is now 21 and has given birth to my first granddaughter. With every new birth I think about it as well. I know he was with me the entire pregnancy and marriage. I left my ex-husband after 3 children and 5 years and the day I walked out on him in the middle of the night with the  clothes on my back, I thought for a second of turning around and giving in and I felt  huge warm hands on my shoulders pushing me to my car and I knew then I couldn't turn around. My grandfather was helping once more.

This story has made me realize that our loved ones are near and when we need them they will be there for us. That I have intuitive gifts and really enjoyed learning to use them.
