Reiki (pronounced Ray-Kee) means the “Universal Life Force” in Japanese symbology. The word Reiki originates from the words Raku-Kei. The Raku is the vertical energy flow and the Kei is the horizontal flow of energy through the body. Reiki is universal healing energy that is transmitted through the Reiki Master to the receiver. The Reiki energy comes from the God Force; the channel giving the energy to the person in need is only the transmitter between God and the receiver.
